Difference between Live Roulette and Live Baccarat
The world’s two most popular table games are now available to be played in the form of live dealer games where a real dealer spins an actual wheel. These games have created a name in the world of online gambling by providing a platform for a smooth gameplay and great graphics which even work well on a slow internet connection.
Roulette as One of The Live Dealer Games
Rules: Once you make a bet, the dealer spins the wheel in one direction which throws the ball in the other. When the wheel stops spinning, the ball falls in one of the slots. You win if the ball falls in your bet area and you pocket the payout that you receive. Each bet is made while keeping it in mind the table limits. These minimum and maximum limits vary from table to table and hence before placing the bet one should check those with the dealer. Once the winning number is announced by the croupier or the dealer, it is marked on the table and the other losing bets are cleared from the table. If you want to place the same bet again, you can choose the re-bet option or, you can place a new bet. The various bets that can be placed in these Roulette live dealer games are:

Split (any 2 no.s) | 17x |

Live Baccarat
Rules: In Baccarat live dealer games, for each hand dealt, you only make a single bet. The purpose of the game is to make a total closer to 9 as compared to the other players. The table casino game of Baccarat in live version start when the dealer deals 2 cards to the player’s hand and 2 cards to the banker’s hand. Whosoever has a total of 8 or 9 wins the game. If no one has a natural hand, more cards are dealt. First, a card is dealt with to the player’s hand. If the hand total is equal 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, the second card is dealt. The hand will stand if the total is 6 or 7. There are some rules in place for the banker’s hand too in Baccarat live dealer games.
- Banker draws if his hand total is 3 and player has a total between 0 and 7.
- Banker draws if he has a hand total of 4 and player a total of 0 or from 2 to 7.
- Banker gets a card for a total of 6 when the player has a total of 6 or 7.
Bets: There are three kinds of bets that can be placed in Baccarat live dealer games. One is the Banker’s bet which pays out 1:1 minus a house commission of 5%, the other is a tie bet with 8:1 payout and the last one is the player’s bet with 1:1 payout. The chances of tie bet winning are very less, hence, it is usually avoided by the players.
