How to play American Roulette?
American Roulette is a casino game involving Roulette. A Roulette is a basically a ‘little wheel’ containing a little white ball and players are required to bet on several parameters after spinning the Roulette. In this game, the wheel consists of thirty eight slots, starting from zero and going all the way up to 36, with another slot for 00. 0 and 00 are coloured green and the others are coloured black and red. The wheel alternates between odd and even numbers. The major difference between American Roulette and English Roulette is that English Roulette has only one 0 as opposed to 0 and 00 in American Roulette. The American game’s table is specifically designed to accommodate the wheel and the place for betting. The place for betting consists of 12 rows with three numbers each. The first row will be 1, 2, 3, the second will be 4, 5, 6 and the 12th row will be 34, 35 and 36. 0 and 00 are not included in this setup.
Game Progression
American Roulette starts off with the dealer spinning the wheel in one direction and throwing the ball in the opposite direction. The ball will then fall into one of the slots as the wheel begins to slow down. Players bet on colour, number and nature of the number. Betting can be done for any amount of stakes but the higher you go, the more the risk associated with the game. If luck is something that you always have, then you might stand to make quite a lot of money when you are done.
Betting styles
There are several types of bets involved in the game, they are given below:
Straight bets – Straight bets are pretty straight forward. The wheel is spun and the players bet on a single number and if the ball falls on that particular number, they are paid. The payout ratio is 1:35 for straight bets.
Split bets – In this type of bet, players bet on two nearby numbers. If the ball falls on either of these two numbers, they win. Here the payout ratio is half that of the straight bets.
Trio Bet – As the name suggests, the player bets on a particular row of three numbers and if the ball falls into any of the three slots, the player wins. The payout ratio here is 11:1.
Red and Black bet – This is a type of an outside bet, wherein the player bets that the ball will fall into a red slot or the player bets that the ball will fall into a black slot.
Even and Odd bet – The player bets that the ball will fall into an even slot or the player bets that the ball will fall into an odd slot.
Low and High Bet – Low bets in American Roulette game involves betting for a number between 1 and 18 and high bet involves betting for a number in between 19 and 36.
