In-depth Look at a Betting System: The Roulette 666 Strategy
People often talk about the betting system and the strategies to make more profits. One such strategy which is often talked about is the roulette 666 strategy. Roulette-lovers wonder if they can get huge amounts of profits by using this strategy against the betting system. But there is no clear answer. Roulette is a game of chance with short-term volatility. People are often looking for a cover-the-table strategy that minimizes their risk, and improves chances of succeeding and the 666 strategy sounds like one.
But does it work? This guide holds the answers for you.
Why Is It Called 666 Strategy?
The roulette wheel is called the devil’s wheel, and the number 666 is the beast’s number itself. Besides, the number on a roulette wheel adds up to 666. Yes, if you add numbers 1-36, the answer will be 666.
What Is 666 Strategy?
In the betting system of the roulette wheel, this strategy allows you to cover almost all the numbers except four and increase your earning ratio. The logic is that you have more chances of betting on the potential number by covering most of the numbers.
The Rules Of 666 Strategy
The betting system of the 666 strategy requires you to follow certain rules. First, you have to bet a minimum $66 per spin. You can also use its multiples like $132, $198, or more. Then you can multiply the gainings and losses.
The betting system of 666 strategy goes like this-
- Bet $36 on red.
- Bet $24 on 12 numbers in split bets.
- So, you bet $4 on 0 and 2
- $4 on 8 and 11
- $4 on 10 and 13
- $4 on 17 and 20
- $4 on 26 and 29
- $4 on 28 and 31
- Bet 3 straight bets out of the 7 remaining numbers. Bet $2 on each.
- Say $2 on 33
- $2 on 35
- $2 on 4
So, you bet a total amount of $66, ($36 on red)+($24 on split)+($6 on straight)= $66.
Here, you must also be aware of the roulette game payouts, which are as follows-
A European Roulette has 37 slots, the numbers from 1 to 36 and a green slot for zero, representing the house. The odds on a single bet are 36 to 1.
In an American Roulette, there are 38 slots, the numbers from 1-36 and two green slots for 0 and 00. The odds are 37 to 1.
In a triple-zero roulette, there are three zero slots, offering the odds of 38 to 1.
Apart from this, there are other bets as well which pay as follows-
- Row bet- 17 to 1
- Split bet- 17 to 1
- Street bet- 11 to 1
- Corner bet- 8 to 1
- Double street- 5 to 1
- 1st column- 2 to 1
- 2nd column- 2 to 1
- 3rd column- 2 to 1
- Odds- 1 to 1
- Even- 1 to 1
- Red- 1 to 1
- Black- 1 to 1
- 1 to 18- 1 to 1
- 19-36- 1 to 1
Now, you must look at the spins and the results and net earnings. There are only four slots left. Let’s suppose the ball ends up in those four slots 4 out of 10 times. You will lose 66*4= 264. Each time you get a spin, you get $72 after betting $66, net earnings of $6. The chances of getting $6 are 33. So, you get 33*$6= 198.
It brings you to a net loss of $66 in 10 spins. It simply means that you are not earning as much as you are losing to the betting system. The strategy doesn’t work if you are looking for massive payouts.
Does 666 Strategy Work?
If you are looking for an honest answer, it is no. It does not help much. You can understand it by an example. Say, if you are betting $1 on straight-up bets on a single number. Now, say you bet it 10 times, and out of these 10, you succeed only once. So, you bet $10 total, and after a single gain, your net earnings are $36. You earn $26.
While in the 666 strategy, the betting system requires you to bet $66 every time. Yes, it allows you to cover almost the entire table, but the amount at stake is high, and the chances of making money in the long term are less.
Why Does the 666 Strategy Don’t Work?
There are reasons why this strategy fails to beat the betting system.
Short-Term Variance
The players assume that they have covered the 32 numbers, and the chances of the ball landing on the other four have been reduced. The short-term variance of the roulette wheel leaves you with a hope that a certain event will or will not occur. Things don’t work this way. It is possible that the ball will land all ten times on these four numbers, and there are also chances that the ball won’t even touch the numbers on any spin. You can’t bet a large amount on the assumption.
The Long-Term Loss
If you are using this strategy, you will learn that you lose more than you gain. If you go by the above example of payouts, you will understand that the 666 strategy is not helping you earn more.
Lack Of Long-Term Perspective
While applying the 666 strategy, you forget that each number holds a one in 37 chance of occurring. If you look at it over a small number of chances, the outcome will be different. If you spread it across 74 spins, its chances of appearance are 2. This long-term perspective is lacking in the 666 strategy.
Not So Rare Events
Players think that the chances of losing are only four in 37. But these numbers are not as rare, and they hold the same chance of appearing as the others do.
Wrap Up
If you are not looking for massive payouts and are not a risk-lover, you can try the 666 strategy. If you go with mathematics, it clearly shows that the strategy offers limited earnings. Don’t believe in any of the stories that it is a magical strategy. Instead, look at the facts, understand the betting system, and decide whether it will be beneficial for you after going over the numbers.
