What is European Roulette?
Roulette is a game popular in casinos. The game consists of a spinning wheel (roulette) divided into pockets which are numbered and coloured. European Roulette is the most popular version among all other versions. It is different from the American and other versions in terms of its lower house edge (amount lost by the player relative to his bet, on average).
How to play European Roulette?
European Roulette has 37 pockets. Zero is the only number coloured green and in numbers ranging from 1-10 and 19-28 the odd numbers are red and even are black; and is the opposite for numbers ranging from 11-18 and 29-36. European Roulette game begins when “croupier” spins the wheel and a ball is thrown in the other direction. The ball then lands into any one of the pockets as the wheel stops spinning. Bets are placed on numbers, ranges of numbers, colour of the pocket and whether the winning number is odd or even.
